Hello out there!

I have to apologize to all of you who have been on pins and needles out there wondering what is happening with this Boring family. Stuff happened...I procrastinated....I lost this blog, and couldn't find it... I started a couple of other blogs....then happy day found my lost blog by accident or Divine intervention. Call it whatever you want, but I am BaAaAaCk! :)
I have recently changed my lifestyle to include healthier eating AND exercise. Which amazingly I feel a ton better. I know, Go figure-right?!
Today at church we learned about the purpose of the law of consecration and it was amazing and very interesting. Then in Relief Society, we talked about how Heavenly Father answers ALL prayers and his tender mercies. Loved it!

Happy Valentines Day

For Valentines day the girls received these flower hooks to hang there bags and Issac received a bank to save for his mission. I found these through Avon believe it or not. The kids loved it.

Party Time :)

We had Katie's Birthday party on Saturday at the park. She had some friends and family there. We had a pillow case race. Ring toss and wheelbarrow race. We even had a jar filled with candy for everyone to guess the number of candy.




Katie had a friend show up at the party after all the games were over. Being the sweet girl that she is , she took her friend through all the games . Katie was in a pillowcase with her then stepped out of it on the way back.
Here is Katie opening her first present. This one is from Mommy and Daddy. She also had a yellow bolero jacket that goes with the dress.

Her friend Skyler gave her a doodle set, Playdoh and Pez candy.
These are from her friends Burgundy and Aubrey. They gave her a purse, Hannah Montana picture frame, popcorn and lip balm.
She received many great gifts from Aunt Freida and Aunt Jennifer as well.
There was so much wind on Saturday that we could not get the cake lit. We tried shielding the cake with the cake box , with no luck.
We told Katie to pretend the candles were lit. Here she is blowing out her candles :)Happy 7th birthday Katie :)

Pinewood Derby and Blue and Gold Banquet

The 100th anniversary


We were asked to bring a birthday cake. So I went to Bashas' with a picture I printed of the boyscout symbol. I told them what I wanted and they did a beautiful job. I know I could not have done this myself.

Issac's pinewood derby car. He was car number 1.
Issac received a medal for participating in the pinewood derby.
He also received an award for "Most Scout Spirit"

Happy Birthday Katie :)

On Katie's birthday we had a small celebration. We had birthday pancakes and one present before we had to rush of to school and work. After the pinewood derby, Katie opened to birthday cards. One from Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jim and one from Grandma and Grandpa Boring. She actually sat and read each birthday card too.Will this frog turn into a handsome prince?Time to give the money to Mom...hehehe. Actually I took Katie to Laughlin and we watched the Tooth fairy with her birthday money. We had a good time :)

All I want for Valentines......

Katie and Jo were rough housing and Katie nailed Jo in the head with her front teeth. She practically knocked out one tooth and loosened the other pretty good. She pulled one out the first day and the next day had the other out! Katie's comment about her two front teeth being out was " It feels weird!"

One afternoon we had lunch a little late... I think I tired her out just a little. In case you are wondering , that is her lunch that her hand is in. It's a sandwich..honest...:)
